Intercultural management training

General information about the in-person trainings of the BAC Eduline,concerning our company’s CORONA VIRUS MEASUREMENTS:
- Our training room has high interior height gal, and
- The most modern ventilation system.
- Before entering the training room, a hands-free hand sanitizer equipment is available for use for the participants, as well as for the instructors.
- We provide for the participants and the instructors masks, free of charge.
- During this pandemic situation, we are holding our trainings in small groups, consisting of a maximum of 12 participants, in order to be able to ensure the safe physical distance in the room.

Our Adult Educator Institution is fully prepared - considering the current pandemic situation - to switch from the in-person training form to the online form at any time.

1. Modular Intercultural Management

Application conditions / Who we recommend this training to:

  • We recommend the training to companies where the communication with foreign clients, suppliers and partners constitutes a major part, both in time and content, to the operation of the company; OR if the composition of the company’s management or workforce deals with a significant foreign presence, AND
  • You would like your company’s employees, suppliers and customers of several / all nations (e.g.: Hungarian colleagues separately, French colleagues separately and a mixed group in the final module) to be trained to carry out quality cooperation within an intercultural environment, a quick resolution and prevention of potential conflicts, and to design and operate the most effective multicultural corporate management.

Length of training:

Modular Intercultural Management training: 3-5 days of training (number of training hours / day: 5 hours)

Methodology and purpose of the training:

  • The training addresses the differences between the two cultures and any typical conflicts arising as a result in terms of certain elements of corporate operations, protocol and etiquette, laws and regulations, as well as management, and offers suggestions on how to resolve such conflicts.
  • Over the course of the training members of both nations receive information on the other nation, using the main features of their own culture as basis.
  • As a result, the first two modules of the training, in terms of content and methodology are mirrored.
  • According to our recommendation / to achieve greater efficiency, all employees involved in intercultural communication and work – regardless of their nationality- participate in the training in order for each culture to connect as effectively as possible and to cooperate over the course of their corporate management and work.
  • The key objective is to bring individual groups of national workers closer together.
  • In all cases the content and shaping of the training is tailored to the individual needs of the company by taking into account the characteristic of the work, the management tools used, the correspondence between the representatives of the two cultures, as well as the specific problems and challenges the company currently faces.

2. Intercultural Management Crash Course

Application conditions / Who we recommend this training to:

  • We recommend the training to companies where the communication with foreign clients, suppliers and partners constitutes a major part, both in time and content, to the operation of the company; OR if the composition of the company’s management or workforce deals with a significant foreign presence, and the company, above all, must introduce its employees to the main features, the greatest differences, and the basic protocol and etiquette of the other culture as soon as possible.

Length of training:

Intercultural Management Crash Course: 2 days of training (number of training hours / day: 5 hours) (The number of training days will be finalized according to the needs of the company.)

Methodology and purpose of the training:

  • The training addresses the differences between the two cultures and any typical conflicts arising as a result in terms of certain elements of corporate operations, protocol and etiquette, laws and regulations, as well as management, and offers suggestions on how to resolve such conflicts.
  • We recommend your company’s enrollment in this training if your employees, suppliers and customers are of one nation needing intercultural coaching (meaning representatives solely of Hungary or the other nation.)
  • Over the course of the training we discuss the cultural characteristics from the cultural perspectives of the given (one) nation systematically and in depth considering all relevant aspects of the operation of the company.
  • In all cases the content and shaping of the training is tailored to the individual needs of the company by taking into account the characteristic of the work, the management tools used, the correspondence between the representatives of the two cultures, as well as the specific problems and challenges the company currently faces.
  • The emphasized goal of the training is the ability to recognize and sensitize the differences between cultures, which is why we incorporate and work through situational exercises, situation analysis and film excerpt analysis.

3. Living and Working in a Foreign Culture

Application conditions / Who we recommend this training to:

  • We recommend the training for all who are interested in settling and / or employment in another country.
  • If you have ever wondered what it would be like to communicate with foreigners and if you are perhaps considering moving and working abroad our training was meant for you!

Length of training:

2 days of training (number of training hours / day: 5 hours)

Methodology and purpose of the training:

  • We help you to get to know the cultural differences that you might encounter in your selected culture. We show you how you can integrate into the culture of your choice seamlessly without any conflicts. We provide insight into the rules and regulations of settling and working in the country of your choice.
  • Participants of this training are introduced to everyday life, as well as the basic etiquette and protocol knowledge needed to integrate into the workplace, lifestyle attributes and tricks, and cultural peculiarities.
  • The purpose of our training is to introduce you to any information regarding employment and the way of life in a foreign country that might be helpful for you to achieve a balanced, successful, and satisfied lifestyle in another culture.

4. Establishment and Management of Business Relationships between Foreign Cultures

Application conditions / Who we recommend this training to:

      • We recommend the training to businessmen who, within their own country, would like to begin and develop business relationships with businessmen and enterprises belonging to other cultures OR if they specifically would like to enter the market in another country.

Length of training:

1 day training (number of training hours / day: 5 hours)

Methodology and purpose of the training:

      • The objective of this training is to introduce those who are interested to the characteristics of business communication with another culture. This includes negotiation skills, business protocol, quotation, donation agreements, cultural and business compliance with applicable legal and any supplemental conditions, basic knowledge of after 5 rules and cultural differences for social gatherings outside of working hours that are extremely important in the course of a business (we know of countless cases where a business’ success or failure lies within the effort of proper intercultural preparedness). We make absolutely certain to highlight the units on what is culturally allowed or forbidden, the typical cultural specialties in a customer-supplier relationship, and the overall cultural characteristics of the business relationship.
      • Over the course of the training we go through every item from the establishment of the business relationship to the signing of the contracts, followed by guiding you through the cultural differences and specifics during the stages of maintenance and follow-up.
